YOUNG ONE STAR "OFFFICER'S" CABINET CARD OUT OF GALVESTON, TEXAS. CONFEDERATE ??:

Here we have a great early one star "young" OFFICER that surfaced in Galveston, Texas about 20 years ago. He looks to be in a studio setting with his one star collar on his uniform. The uniform is a period low cut collar and is a single breasted with three buttons showing. As you can see it has a gold ring around the photo and a white border covered in a piece of glass. The photo is most likely post Civil War and done as a cabinet card. The wooden frame is in fairly good condition and could use some glue or small bails to hold it together. The reverse has a modern cardboard backing with scotch tape holding it to the frame. Who is he?? Reb or ?? I feel he is a Reb and the image made post war but I have never been able to find any information on him. Selling as described above. It measures 11 1/2 wide inches by 15 1/66 inches long in the frame. I ship to the lower 48 states and will ship in a large USPS Priority shipping for $25.00.I CHANGED THE TITLE FROM GENERAL TO OFFICER TO BE CLEAR ON THE CABINET CARD. CONFEDERATE OFFICER'S OR GENERALS DID HAVE A ONE STAR ON THEIR COLLARS. SOME UNIFORMS WERE HOME MADE AND THAT IS WHY YOU HAVE A VAST ARAY OF CONFEDERATRE GREY UNIFORMS SOME ARE EVEN BLUE. YOU CAN LOOK UP CONFEDERATE AUTHENTIC UNIIFORMS AND SEE ONE STAR COLLARS. IF I COULD OF IDENTIFIED THIS YOUND SOLDIER AND HE WAS A TEXAS CONFEDERATE WE ALL KNOW THE PRICE WOULD BE 10 TIMES WHAT I AM ASKING. It is just a great period cabinet card.
