Original WW2 1930\'s 40\'s or older WW2 Japanese officer\'s sword in as found condition. Sword has nick\'s here and there on the blade, blade is not broken or cut and is Seright and not bent but does have some damage due to some dings on the blade. The grip is in very good condition and looks like a Bako light without any chips or breaks that I can see plus the wire wrapping is intact and tight, along with brass guard with nice detail and is tight to the blade, I\'m sure the right person could repair the blade but beyond what I can do or even try. The scabbard is for the wright type of sword but is too short for this sword by just over 1 inch @ 1and 1/8\", so blade does not set all the way into the scabbard but still has value and could be used for another sword.
