ORIGINAL Sword Gilded Bone Grip, Eagle Pommei - Curved Blade, ca 1815:

From a collection in North Dallas, is a sword . The grip is bone and the hilt is gilded. The initials, W J are at the very top of the curved blade where it meets the hilt. The Pommei is an Eagle.

Please note that there is no scabbard.

Length is 32 3/4 inches long, tip to tip, x 4 1/2 inches wide at the top. The hilt measures 6 inches long x 4 1/2 inches wide .
