This is an old confederate style sword that I don’t know much about…….
I’m happy to send any other detailed pics or try to answer any question………
I circled a portion of the blade where there could be a marking. It’s hard to tell if it’s just deteriorating or if it’s a specific marking. It looks like it could be the possible letters, U and S but I am not sure……..
I received this sword from a family member and don’t know anything other than what I could find on Google.
