I just got a new state prize for my collection. Sorry Huligan. I need some info about it. I think it´s ukrainan and I wonder if it´s made of gold or just goldplated. How many awards was given and last what does the text say on the reverse?

first of all congratulations!!! I am sure that when Huligan calms down and gets back from the cardiac ward, he may respond in a civilized manner. All jokes aside, I am not sure how authentic this piece is... In my non-educated opinion, I can only see that the text on the back is very well pronounced on the top and not so much on the bottom... very hard to achieve if simply worn. Secondly, the letters look a bit like cast... Other than that I would have paid $100 US just for a pretty medal... Eric

Never seen one - but judging from the scans, I would say it is made of gold, and I can't really see anything wrong about it.

Letters PCP (RSR) mean in Ukrainian language: R- Soviet (Radyanska); S- Socialist (Socialistichna); R- Republick (Respulika). Eric |
