Art,
#11 and #49 are identical; it is the 1970's badge to Builder of Tashkent, after the city was destroyed in an earthquake. This badge is not a honored title. It is very common as several bags of unissued badges were found at LMD and were "liberated" after the fall of the USSR, but its associated document is quite scarce, approximately 35,000 having been issued in all. Honored Trainer/Coach
Why do the honored Trainer badges for all the republics look completely different? Are they awarded by the Supreme Soviet or someone else? I believe they fit in the honored series, but there is something different about them.

Honored Trainer badges
Keith,
These are surprizingly very available, and tend to display all the telltale signs of "modern production" (brand new, no traces of wear, etc). Marc |

Variation of Trainer
I have seen the first version perhaps a dozen times, but its the first time I have seen this. I believe its the same award.
