ORDER OF PARTISAN STAR 1,2 and 3 Class
The award was instituted on August, 15, 1943 in three classes.
The award was given to commanders of Partisan units and guerrillas for skilful actions and bravery. (Pic CO YY) Eddie.

Partisan Stars ?
Photo shows a group of yugoslavian partisans , I suppose they would
have earned some partisan stars if they survived the war. Christer |

This is one of my favorite Communist Bloc order
This 3rd class is from the early issue made in the Soviet Union by the MONETNY DVOR. This order is much nicer than the late issues which were made from the Zagreb Mint. The issue of this award ceased in 1973. P.S.: Sorry for the bad scans. it's not easy to scan a screwback ! Soviet |
