We all know this medal. But - is that a medal made by the USSR? Soviet Republic of Ukriane?

Do you know how many have been awaded? Any Variations? Rarity?

Any information will be helpfull.

Hi Everyone,

As issued by the Umalatova gang. The medallion is identical to the Soviet one.

Outstanding! Are they running out of ideas????????????

Alexei, do you know about other "Umalatova medals" other than the 13 pictured below, order of Stalin and copy of the soviet meritorious work during WW2?

Tal,

I don't exactly keep track of them, but you seem to have them all except for the Chernobyl.

Oh, they are not running out of ideas They have purchased some Orders of the Red Stars and Orders of Lenin from the Gohran, and are now awarding them as well with the same type of award card.

What? I hope it is a joke. Otherwise, I think we will find in a few years Suvorovs, Ushakovs etc. And why not a re-issue of the order of victory??

Alexei,

Is the new Chernobyl medal is the Soviet one, with 5 sided suspension device, or the medal itself is a re-strike, made in some unknown mint specialy for Umalatova?

Tal,

You're also missing two Umalatova orders:

1) Order of Stalin
2) Order "For Defender of the Soviets" (za****niku sovetov)

Each has two variations.

Umalatova Chrenobyl "medal"

I have the same item, but with a five point suspension ribbon. It was sold to me as another Umalatova award. What can you tell me about it?
