1975 Spring General Offensive Campaign badge
This Campaign preceeded the Ho Chi Minh campaign and the PAVN forces were Commanded by Senior General Van Tien Dung
The 1975 Spring general offensive and uprising started with the victory in Buon Ma Thuot on March 11th, 1975, which was followed by a series of triumphs of the Tay Nguyen (Central Highlands) campaign. The entire Central Highlands was liberated on March 24th, 1975. On March 26th, 1975, Hue was liberated and on March 29, 1975, Da Nang was liberated. The badge was awarded to the troops who took part in this campaign. The inscription reads TOAN THANG XUAN 1975 (Total Victory Spring, 1975) In the SRV flag QUET THANG (Resolved to Win)
