Looking for HSU number
http://babelfish.altavista.com/babel...fHero_id%3d391
Is there a way I can "reverse engineer" what number of HSU should belong to the bio in above link? Trying to do some due diligence here. If it turns out that I'll get this HSU, then I'll post all details of course with scans. |

Eddie,
de la Poype and Chretien were not awarded posthumously. I tend to remember that Ibarruri was. Marc |

Hi Marc,
Sorry just phrased that a little wrong maybe, the award numbers are missing still from the research thread. De la Poype and Chretien got the award while they were alive and a few others on the list too I just cant find the number. And I was asking for confirmation that Hero stars were not awarded postum, thanks for the response though, regards Eddie

I once asked this question but found no reply.
When an someone was awarded a Hero Star, he/she was awarded simultaneously with the Order of Lenin as well. However, when he is awarded a second HSU he does not receive a second Lenin. So, supposing that we have this twice HSU (or three times, if you want), and after that is awarded a HSL, does he receive an Order of Lenin or that HSL* would count as his/her fourth Hero Star, and thus, not receiving simultaneously a Lenin? *NOTE: I just realized that instead of writing HSL I wrote "HSU" before, so I think the question changes again... oops

Esteban,
Initially they were giving OL only with the first HSU or HSL, but it was changed in 1973. Alexei
