Soviet Insignia reference book recommendations?

Is there a book or books that are recommended for Soviet Uniforms and insignia? Something with color plates of shoulderboards from GPW to 1991. All I have is the 1989 regulations book and a book called "Soviet Army Uniforms & Insignia 1945:75".

Doc,

It sounds like you need the (almost) complete range of regulation books
As far as I know, the following ones have been published (regular armed forces, NKVD and Milicia had their own), I either own them or held them:
. 1943
. 1955
. 1958
. 1964
. 1969
. 1974
. 1989
A friend told me that he has seen once a 1980 regulation book, but I have never heard that anyone owns one, so this one carries a serious "?" in my opinion.
