I also have the books and am very happy with them as well. They don't replace The Comprehensive Guide, but are good when used in tandem.

Thumbs up

Gentlemen,

Thanks a lot for your most valuable and highly appreciated replies.

I'm just curious, because I don't know if the person I've been in touch with is or not one of the authors, and right now can't confirm because he is away for another couple of days or so, but he signs his emails as Sergey.
So my question is: do you know if Mr. Sergey Shishkov is an Israelian or at least lives in Israel?

Thanks again,

Dolf

I don't believe Shishov lives in Israel. I believe he is active-duty Russian Navy and lives in Vladivostok.

Dave,

Thanks a lot for the prompt reply and clarification.
I guess I've probably been talking with another Sergey

Dolf,

Sergey is a very popular name for a Russian.

Rusty,

Yeah, I'm realizing that
In fact for Russian and maybe non-Russian, as this guy is from Israel, or at least lives there, even if he is maybe originally Russian.

Tal,

I guess you're talking about Sergey Shishkov.

Anyway, in the meantime I was able to clarify it and this guy is indeed another Sergey. As this one is located in Israel I guess this one is an Israelian fellow. And a very nice and kind fellow btw!

Thanks anyway for the clarification concerning S. Shishkov.

Btw, I bought the two volumes book (for a very interesting price! $100.00 ), now I'm anxious it arrives.

Dolf

Dolf, $100 is a good price. I have seen it going for much more than that. I just might be tempted...

Danny,

It usually sells for $150-$160 and I've even seen it for sale for $180, so I guess it's indeed a very interesting price.

Details by PM.

Best,

Dolf
