Military Distinction Badges book

Guys,
Does anyone have this book?
Could someone give a description of it please.
I'm quite sure I've seen this book in this section somewhere but I can't find the thread at the moment.
I would be grateful for any views on this book ASP.

TIA Eddie.

I don't have the book but I have seen it a couple of times.

By the pictures it seems to be only a basic information in this book but I can´t read the russian very much so I don't if the text includes more facts than in an "usual" badge book.

Eddie,

I have this book in my collection. If I were to compare it to Borisov, it's not as complete, but still it has some interesting stories behind those badges. It was first published in 1982 and reprinted in 1990, so there is also a lot of propaganda crap.

Eddie,

Don't stress over it too much. It's usefull to have if you read Russian, but not a must.

I'm starting to get an interest into Soviet badges. Is there a book which is the equivalent to Mr MacDaniel's on Soviet badges, all of them? In english preferably? Thanks

Danny,

Unfortunately, there isn't. The only decent book with some parts translated into English is Likhitsky. Borisov is also useful, but it is in Russian.

Does anyone have an English translation of the Likhitsky book? The introduction is of less importance, but the names of the badges would be great.

Thanks in advance
