Translation of 1939 Reserve Voennii Bilet

Hi,

I am translating a 1939 VB from a man who was a Defence Technician 1st Rank. I seem to have got through most of the material OK but there are a few bits I need help with.

Could anyone please help with the following excerpts:
  1. Civilian job - some sort of engineer (electrical?)
  2. Foreign language skills?
  3. Call up to Red Army?

Thanks for any help you can give,

Simon

Translation of 1940/41 Naval Voennii Bilet

I have translated most of this book w(a naval nurse from Vladivostok).

There are a couple of sections I am having trouble with. Could someone please help.

The are:
  • Section 5 - This section is something like "младший началъству??" Junior ???
  • Section 7 - медицин сестра флота и ? обороны What is the missing word. I take this to read "Fleet Nurse and/in ? defence"
As always any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Simon

Re: Translation of 1939 Reserve Voennii Bilet

Hi Simon,

Glad I might be able to return the favour with my booklet

5: младший начальствующий, junior boss?

7: медицин сестра флота и береговой обороны, so missing word is like coast

Cheers,
Marco

"coastal defense" is correct. I can't make out the first two words.

Translation of Red Army Book

Hi Folks,

Just about got this one licked but unsure about two bits. Any help greatly appreciated.
  1. Unit info: literally this appears to be 235th Artillery Reserve Rifle Regiment. Does this mean the artillery of the 235th Reserve Rifle Regiment or the Artillery Reserve of the 235th Rifle Regiment? In the next section what is the first word? Does the rest mean 82 mm Company (rota) fighting vehicle (BM)?
  2. Address and wife's name: I have most of the address as - Dnepropetrovsk oblast, Novomoskovsk rayon, village of Nikolaevka
? “Volya”. What is before Volya? Finally the wife's name - Pelage? Alekseevna?
