Eric,

He received a medal "Za Doblestniy Trud" on 23/8/1946, document #151500.

Koopyetz,

I don't think so. I think it is the "valiant work in WW2" medal.
The Valiant Labor medal is spelled "За Трудовую Доблесть".

So it's this one: Медаль "За доблестный труд в Великой Отечественной войне 1941-1945 гг" ?
That's 'Valiant Labor In The GPW'. Confusing.
За трудовую доблесть is 'Valiant Labor' as well.

Eric:
My response left a little to be desired. Thinking of the medal with the image of Stalin on the obverse and comparing the wording
За доблестный труд to what is on the reverse of the same medal
as illustrated on the sample provided on the main page of this forum I
feel it is the medal for valiant labor in the great patriotic war as identified by Lapa.
I hope this helps .
Regards
Rick

Thanks for the help Rick and Marc.

Kinda disappointing, I was hoping to find something a little more battle related.
