Back to the second citation in post 4.
It's for Entry into Berlin, April 23rd, 1945. I was wondering what unit Private Bulkovokiy was in and the unit stamp turned out to be fairly readable I think. I came up with Гаубичный Артиллерийский Полк ОКН which is Howitzer Artillery Regiment. I'm not sure what "ОКН" stands for though. Curiously, in German "OKH" stands for Oberkommando des Heeres or Army High Command. I'm leaning towards the 599th Reg, although it might be 589. No luck finding what Division or Army that's part of though.

Are you talking about the "599" in the stamp? "NKO" are the only letters flipped because they are at the bottom of the seal.
Now is it just my mind that's in the gutter are do those clouds look awfully buxom?  Phillip
