Early Lenins
Dear Friends,
I just had to share this one with you. It's a type 4, variation 1 "Platinum Head" Order of Lenin with Mondvor mintmark. Serial number is 353, making it a replacement issue for type 1 "Tractor". Alexei |

Here's a type 4, variation 2 without any surprises. Serial number is 9487. Comes with the order booklet, named to Karastelin, Serguy Grigorievitch, dated december 1, 1942.

his last name is VARSHAVSKI.
This must also have been a replacement for an earlier issue. Look at the issue date 1 April 1935. Order Book issued in 1941. |
