Smile An Early Suspension Bravery Medal

Here's a new arrival. It's an early suspension Bravery Medal s/n 94.706. It was awarded to a Medical Officer " who has proven himself to be an Excellent Medical Worker. He has evacuated many wounded soldiers and officers, as a result saving many lives. He has made improvements in the Regimental Mediacl Point. Comrade Ivanov is not concerned with his own safety. During the fighting from 31 December 1942 through 10 January 1943 he excellently rendered aid to the wounded. Comrade Ivanov personally went forward and also ensured medical personnel were distributed throughout the ranks". I have his Award Card and Citation for the Bravery Medal. I'm going to request the remaing citations and Personnel file. Many Thanks Paul!!!

Nice one, and especially good to have the research on such a late (suspension) and early (serial number) one!

And right in your area too!

Doc,

These often have replacement screwplates or other minor problems, but yours is just great!
