Got a new Bravery medal

This one came today. It is a nice T1V3 medal that could be from mid 1943. It is worn but I like medals that way.
The red plastic band is quite interesting. Under it is an old ribbon.

And most likely awarded by either the Western or North Western Front in JUN/JUL 43.

So this could be a medal awarded for the battle of Leningrad? One day I guess I will have to research this one.

Those pictures are much better than mine. I'll better save them in my archive. Is it Alexeis pictures? He is a good photographer too.

Yes it is. I almost bought that medal, but I changed my mind for something else.

No, the Leningrad Front would cover that area.

Beauty, eh

That's a really nice BM Erik.
Lotsa nice patina and good honest wear. That's how I like mine.
And the older, rectangular suspensions are really nice. They display well.

Take a look at my display: How to display Soviet awards
