Polar Regions Defense Rarity Poll

Gentlemen,

I would like to know your opinions on the rarity of The Defense of the Soviet Polar Regions Medal.

Your Choices:

C-Common, always available. Occasionally in quantity.

R1-Usually available without a long delay. Difficult to find in quantity.

R2-Scarce to rare, less seldom available.

I will adjust the website grading in 1 week according to the results of the poll.

Thanks for your participation

Art

With over 350,000 awardees - I say it's R1.

Not as commonly availadle as Jubilee medals and Victory over Germany (awarded in millions), just one notch above.

With document from the great war it´s quite hard to find. The U-shaped ring is much rarer then the regular soldered ring.I say that medal is at least R2 maybe harder to find

I agree I also think its R2. Whenever I have seen it for sale the price it seems to go for reflects that of a R2.

I think it's R1, obtainable, but is getting harder to get in quantity.
