Eric,
Beautiful looking medals! What organization are the Tsiolkovsky 150 and Korolev 100 medals from?
Thanks!
Mike

Re: Space Medals

Here are 3 new medals from the May 3rd auction I picked up. The first two were issued by the Russian Academy of Cosmonautics of Tsiolokovsky; the third medal I'm not sure, which is the same as yours. It says something to the effect: "Founder of Theoretical Cosmonautics." Your Korolev medal says, "Founder of Practical Cosmonautics." Now as to which organization issued the Tsiolokovsky 150th anniversary medal, who knows.

Both medal (reverse) of Korolev and Tsiolkovskiy look the same. They are probably issued by the same organization. If I find somethig, I will let you know.
