Defense of the Caucasus medal information.
Hi, I need information about this medal of my collection. I see mondvor page, but it´s a little information. someone have more information? How many where issued ? .

Are you looking for info about the specific maker's mark on the back?
As far as the DoC goes 870,000 or so were issued. Ya know, I've never check my medal's suspensions for maker's marks. Maybe I should go do that? Nah, after a long day at work I'm gonna relax for a bit....

Ruiz,
the markers mark on the reverse is from the Molnija factory. This mark is only found on the medals "Defence of the Caucasus". Little is known about the different factory marks on suspensions. bets regards Andreas |
