M1940 Rifle Unit flag
Here is a M1940 flag for the 595 Rifle Regiment (Thanks Doug!). It is on display in the Strategic Rocket Forces Museum near Vinnitsa, Ukraine. This site was the HQ of the 43rd Rocket Army and if I remember correctly, there is a historical link between between the two.. the 595 Rifle Regiment would have later been a main constituent of the 43rd Rocket Army when it was created after the war.

Superb example of the M1940 unit flag! I am working on a sticky thread-guide to them now; when i do I'll "absorb" your flag..congrats if its yours!
