Flags of Ukraine / UPA Flags
The UPA were The Ukrainian partisans who battles both the Germans and Soviets in the Ukraine. They did get some supplies from German units.
Note that this unit flag for a cavalry unit is made from two colored pieces of cloth, with a patch made of German material in the lower left corner. DD |

Another flag for a small unit. This is painted using an oil based paint on German zeltbhan material. Really unique.

Catholic UPA
This UPA flag is for a Catholic UPA unit; they operated near L'vov and the Polish / Ukrainian border areas. Catholics were a small minority in the UPA, most of the UPA being Orthodox.

Catholic UPA
Rear says Catholic UPA.
This one is nice in that its made from a captured Soviet banner, not German. They cut the heavyy red velvet cloth from a soviet award banner to make this units flag. DougD |

Another UPA'er
Here is the most recent UPA flag; no unit designation, just regular support flag. The UPA and trident are difficult to see, but are there. Made of a basic towel like cotton.

D.U.N. Ukrainian Nationalist "Police" forces (I am probably not translating it 100% correctly)...worked with the Germans, most eventually went over to the UPA in 1942-1944. Druzhyny Ukrainskykh Natsionalistiv (D.U.N.)
