Thank you Eric, you know well, thank you for your advice, amigo. it's hard to find original medals like this. I collect campaign medals in all its variants. I need some more, but patience is a virtue of the collector.

Re: Question on Medal of Belgrade

I hate to jump in on Marcelo's thread (sorry, Marcelo), but here is another one for your collective wise consideration. All comments welcomed, especially if supported by reasons.

Apparently polished, with polish residue?

Re: Question on Medal of Belgrade

Marcelo,

To start with, the document is NOT the award document for this medal.

In order for us to help you assess the genuineness of your medals, please post individual scans of the front and back of each medal, without showing the suspension.

That being said, and given what can bee seen, I don't like them, especially the one on the left. I believe that this one is almost certainly a cast fake (by the way, I remember seeing it on E! not long ago and voted it ).

I would prefer seeing better scans of the one on the right before giving you my my final opinion, but so far, it is also quite negative.

Marc
