Documented Red Star + OGPW 2nd class

Now on E

Both awards are genuine, and the booklet seems original to the Red Star, but the line for the OGPW has obviously been added by the faker! Type 3 OGPW should have its own booklet.

Bad...

I've seen the 1985 jubilee OGPW added directly into award books before for legitimate groups (that also still had the document for the OGPW.) The veteran simply didn't want to have two (or more) order books. Can you blame them? In the same way, I've seen foreign awards and Soviet campaign and jubilee added into order books as well by the veteran. Unless the medals are bad, I wouldn't say that this group is automatically bad because of the added OGPW.

Always a good day when you can learn something new!

Here's the inside of an order book to a General Colonel who added his jubilee OGPW 1 to the mix, as well as his HSU, Lenin and Homeland 3rd
