Victory over Germany Document
Hi Folks,
Based on the Mondvor site there seem to be four versions of this document. Type 1: Early. Cover: thick red. Serial number: no letter, 8 digit number, asterisk (e.g. № 00072940 *) Type 2: Later, widespread. Cover: white thin card. Serial number: letter, 7 digit number, asterisk (e.g. B 0023481 *) Coat of arms: 11 ribbons Date: 194_ Type 2a: Later. Cover: white thin card. Serial number: letter, 6 digit number in a smaller font, no asterisk (e.g. O 383895) Coat of arms: 11 ribbons Date: 194_ Type 3: Latest version. Cover: white thin card. Serial number: letter, 7 digit number in same size font as type 2, asterisk (e.g. Ю 0192957 *) Coat of arms: 15 ribbons Date: 19__ What about the attached? Fake or not? It has an 8 digit serial number with letter and asterisk. The letters on the ribbons are readable under magnification. Simon
