SVT-40 Bayonet

After a long wait, I've finally found a decent example of an SVT-40 bayonet. This example was made at the Tula armory, and has the later type scabbard. Unfortunately, it does not have the hanger. Overall, I'm very pleased to add this to the collection.

I don't think they are scarce at all.
Not cheap is dead on!

Scarce in that you go to a show and everyboday and their brother has piles of German, US, and other bayos, whereas SVT bayos are far-far-less encountered.

And reportedly some of them coming out of Europe (especially the "blade up" versions) are fakes.

That would be about par for the course with Soviet stuff these days. Any idea where the stuff originates from, the baltics, ukraine?
