Leningrad Siege medal

It is very detailed, excellent quality medal. Was it made by LMD?

Hi Eddie,

I picked up one of these in St Petersburg last year. Receipients of this badge?/medal?/award? were also marching in the Victory Day Parade.

From what I was told, it was made during the 90's, which in a way is surprizing given the quality of manufacture.

Sorry!

Sorry guys,
I didn't see the other thread.
It is for certain a Soviet Issue Medal though. Keith sent me a nice scan of the award doc for this Medal.

Eddie.

Eddie,

can you post that scan here?

It would be nice to see it!

Jussi-Pekka,

It got the scan a while ago from a known online dealer, I don't think we are supposed to be posting those. It is dated 1990, making it a Soviet badge, not Post-Soviet. Email me if you want the scan. Or if someone would clarify its ok to post scans like that.

Keith

Here is the scan,
Keith did not post it for copyright reasons, it is from an Online Dealer from whom I do not have the address. Hope it doesn't cause any trouble. If it does I will remove it immiediatly.

Eddie.

Gentlemen,
Thank you!

I think it is OK for the picture, no dealer's name mentioned and so on.
