Stalin - Auction

OK, no way girlfriend will let this stay long in the house, so it needs to go...up for auction is a nice hand-painted Stalin portrait from late-war/early post-war (he still looks young and is wearing the M1943 parade cap). Large size, takes up the bottom half of my closet in the photo.

Would be a great background for any uniform display, or just to brighten up the place! Whatever it goes for is whatever it goes for!

I'll have the auction until Sunday 1/27 7pm. PM with questions.
Shipping is UPS ground for US and Canada. Buyer to pay actual shipping. E-mail and I can find cost for international shipping.

I can take PP, but PM me first.

Doug,

What is postage to Europe (I guess I am not the only one interested in knowing )?
Are there any markings on the back?

markings / postage

I could not find any markings on back, but i'll look again. Itis signed on the front though.

Postage is very tough. Inside USA/Canada it's not that bad because I can do UPS ground...but overseas I would use US Mail International..its an oversize item (blocks lower part of closet!), so I have to guess international shipping would be at least $100.

Doug,

Why not use UPS? They operate in almost every country in the world.

Ups

marc,

UPS prices are sky-high for overseas packages, higher than USPS by far in 99% of the cases. I have probably shipped 300+ packages in the past year and i use UPS for all US and Canada, but for international I only used UPS once (client wanted it and covered the charge). I can find the UPS charge and see what it is; perhaps its better than USPS this time for the odd shaped item, but i don't think so.

Same with FedEx, very costly overseas.
