"Deputy Badges" by Mekhonoshin
For sale this lone copy of Mekhonoshin's reference book on "the badges of the highest levels of power". This is THE reference on the topic, and covers the full period of existence of the Soviet Union.
Aharim, our home-specialist in the field, frequently refers to this book. Included are all the Deputy badges for the Supreme Soviet, and for that of the various Republics and autonomous regions. Everything is profusely illustrated in full color, and there is also a large section about the related documents. Anyway, a picture being worth a 1000 words, have a look at the scans below and you'll see what I am talking about. There was a grand total of 600 copies printed, and no word of a reprint. This book long sold out, so this may be your only chance to secure this highly important reference. I originally purchased it for myself when it was published, thinking to start collecting some of these badges, but the recent "price hikes" have all but turned me off the idea.
