Soviet Officer Daggers
I've been unloading all of my collection out of storage, and couldn't figure out why I still own these. I bought them when I was in Russia in 1992-1996, with the naval one coming directly from the son of the officer (at least that's what he told me, though he did offer me everything else from his father - the dagger was all I bought!)
I've got a few more of these, but I haven't found them yet. When I do, I'll post 'em up here. I'm open to offers on these.-Naval officer dagger, dated 1955. It's clean with a gleaming blade with only storage wear. The gilding on it is primo. As I said above, this one came from the guy's son. He said his dad was naval infantry, and that was the parade uniform he was offering with the dagger. Buy the dagger, and the story is free. -Air Force officer dagger, dated 57. The fittings are dark gold, but have a completely even patina. Overall very good condition, but the owner sharpened one side of the blade (probably to open letters...) Anyway, nice piece for display if you want one. Price: $150 + shipping When I find the others I'll post 'em. Stay tuned! Dave |

Still have the first Navy dagger with belt!
Also found another Navy dagger. This one is about a 6 out of 10 for condition. It has very light (nicely done) sharpening on the blade, it is missing the three rivets for the brass pieces on the scabbard (though they are securely in place) and it shows overall wear. What is nice about it is that it is a 58 dated piece with a very unusual stamped serial number on the blade! Quite interesting! Overall, a nice displayable piece for a wall somewhere. Price: $140 + shipping |
