Medal and document in XF+ condition.

Citation reads:

"On 15.10.44 near Yuefuv(?) on the front lines under enemy artillery fire, Comrade Piskun maintained continuous communications with the battery observation post. On this one day, Comrade Piskun repaired 26 telephone cable breaks while under heavy enemy mortar fire.
On 23.10.44 near Velishevo under enemy fire, Comrade Piskun fixed 10 telephone cable breaks and despite being wounded he did not leave the lines and continued to accomplish his assigned order. He left to the brigade medical unit only after a direct order from his commander.
For excellent maintenance of the telephone cable in combat and for bravery and courage displayed in combat with the German invaders, he is deserving of the Order of the Patriotic War II Class."

Award recommendation downgraded from OPW II to Glory III. Set is only s/n'd decoration so considered complete.

Recipient was inducted from CHERNOBYL Commissariat (no, medal is not radioactive ).
