2 Researched Red Stars

I am offering two researched Red Stars for sale. Both are in excellent conditon with perfect enamel.

Red Star 3554448 was awarded to Lieutenant Abdurakhman Niyazov (an Uzbek) a Machine Gun Company Commander for being wounded twice and serving through the War from December 1942 onwards. His citation lists him as having fought in the Ukraine, Modolva, Romania, Yugoslavia, Hungary and Austria. This Red Star was awarded on 24 July 1945, but obviously didn't catch up to him until the 1950s. Sold with award card, citation and english translation. $110 + shipping

Red Star 3621944 awarded to Corporal Khristofor Davidovich Lebedkin who served on the Kalinin Front fron 18 December 1941 to 29 January 1942 with the 1205th Rifle Regiment. He was heavily wounded on the right side of his chest during the fighting for the village of Sysolga and was thus awarded the Red Star. Sold with award card, citation and English translation. $85 + shipping
