New magazine Ordenskaya Knizka (Order Book) for the field of Soviet awards.

Issue number 1 was just published - À ¹ 200301.

Printing - 750 issues.

Redactor: Dmitriy Varlamov

Over 120 pages.

Language: Russian.

Price - about 80-100 rubles in Moscow.

It looks like Kavaler type magazine.

I do not have pictures of the inside, the book was just published.

The subjects they cover are similar to the ones from Kavaler magazine.

Here are the brief highlights of the articles from the 1st issue:

1) When the Imperial awards were cancelled?
2) History of Medal for 25 yrs of GPW - prototypes, variations,
3) Glory with the Border - lots of pics, many in color,
4) Statistics for Order if Glory Production - all classes, until 1946 - sorted by mits, dates, S. numbers,
5) List of Ushakov 1st cl cavaliers - personal and units awards, names, ranks, date of Ukaz,
6) same data for Nakhimov 1st class,
7) Cavaliers of high military orders - with portraits (Ushakov, Nakhimov, Khmelnitsky)

Appendix includes pics of interesting documents

If I remember correctly, $1 USD is about 30+ Russian Rubles.

It comes to around $3 USD
