However, the latest ones were not "brick red" (that was reserved for the MVD troops), but simply red, like the infantry of that very same period.

Thanks for the clarification. Does anyone have a red example to share? I have an Air Force example that I hope to share with you all soon!

Does anyone have any enlisted medical tunics to share? I would love to see the carmine on an EM/NCO example!

I had female NCO parade jacket, I will post a photo when I find it. Also the Welcome to the Sword of the Motherland Foundation Website website is slowly being ressurected, so there is a chance that they will post a medical branch EM uniform (for a long time they looked for the pink medical sleeve patch, and they have it, so maybe the uniform will show up on their website some time soon)

That would be excellent! I know I have not seen a single pink patch on Ebay for the months I have been looking. This one seems to be a rarity for some reason!

Here is a nice set I just bought for a medical officer in the Air Force.

He has a Bravery Medal AND an Afghani Campaign Medal!!! Cool stuff.
