I have this cap of 68, but are difficult to classify it.
Piping and band are Raspberry color.

Medic no possible? these colors were applied after 1969.

Re: Odessa 68 Medic, Motorised Rifles or Justice?

Motor rifles. M58. The buttons are probably earlier and either the cord or the badge are not original to it (or both).

Thanks Al,
I also asked a Steward (under the Red Star), and this is the end of his reply.

...I just realized I said officer khaki caps did not use gold cords until after 1975. Of course they did use them on their khaki parade caps after 1958, just not on their khaki service caps until 1975.
Sorry for the confusion! So on your cap - instead of replacing the cords with a black chinstrap - making it a correct Motorized Rifle soldier's cap, you could replace the red star with a M1958 officer's parade cockade.
The cap would then be correct for Motorized Rifle, Intendance or Justice officers.

S.R. recommends doing so.

I found the regulation of 1958.
