This medal does not look bad, but you need to post a full scan of both the front and back.

I can't see any obvious problems with this medal but better (larger and higher res) scans are needed.

The medal was bought in the 90ies.

OK guys - I know this is post-Soviet, allegedly early edition (1992?), but could anybody help here? I am totally lost when it comes to these and the Public Order medals - either pre- or post-1991. The seller will give me all the time I need to authenticate it if I buy it (so he says). Anyway, the shots are his, so I can't do much in the way of enhancing them. Just give me your opinions and that is all I ask for now. If I buy it, you will see it again before I decide to keep it. (There are more pics from different angles following these.)

My problem is his left boot. It seems awfully close to the edge if not on it.

IMHO, there are a lot of small details that are off both on the front and on the back. My gut feeling is :thumbsdown

Were the first, solid silver versions of both medals always made with the flat or sheared suspension ring (as opposed to later variations with only round rings)?

Hi,

the first ones had/ have the flat ring, the second variation (also made of solid silver) had/ have a "normal", round ring.
