Voyage to England 1956 Badge

Hi Guys,

what do you think about this 1956 Voyage to England badge.
Look at the bad enamel with the holes.

regards
Andreas

Marschall Voroschilov

Here is a badge for the MARSCHALL VOROSCHILOV. It is not included in the pics of the style of badges you are looking for or dosen't that matter?

Eddie.

my 5 cents

I´ve found two ship badges in my collection which are of a rather poor quality. I can identify the russian one as "Marshal Vasilevski" (Udaloy class/83)
but the Admiral, mentioned on the other one, is unkown to me. Can somebody tell what ship is ment and if it has been renamed, so I wasnt able to find it in my reference book from 1992?

Another ship badge from the "box". The only vessel this could have been made for is the missile corvette "Meteor" (Nanuchka III class) - has the SU really produced badges for such small ships? Or is this a fantasy product?

Are these badges faked? I know everything is being faked but I have acquired a sub commander badge and just find the material kinda "cheap".

Danny,

According to an old post of another member of the Forum , on this thread (Andreas, Posts #18 to #21), it seems they are not all authentic!
Honestelly I don't see much differences between mine (I have about a dozen of these, some are ships others are submarines I believe) and the pics previously posted showing differences between good and bad ones!

Best,

Dolf

I believe that one is "supposed" to be Admiral Kharlamov, Sovremenny class destroyer
