Badges of the USSR

I purchased a copy of the badge book. While it does not carry extensive information regarding the historical backround of each badge, it does seem to be really comprehensive in displaying all of the Soviet badges of the period from the Revolution to after World War II. The photography is excellent, and the text is in Russian, German, and English, so it is a superb reference if you don't read Russian. In the back of the book it is indicated that the print run was indeed only 700 copies. I was also told by one dealer that he was not going to bring in any more copies after I purchased mine because the book is massive and heavy, and costs a fortune just to ship. In size it is about the same as McDaniel's book on Orders and Medals.
