The award document is a standard red, hardcover booklet with gold lettering

Colonel Boris Mikhaylovich Fedorov. This document lists Orders and certain medals of the recipient. The inside cover has the recipients name (Fig. 16). The center pages detail the order awarded, the serial number of the award and the date the order was awarded (Fig. 17). It also has the official seal and the signature of the approving official. The last page (Fig. 18) describes the authority for award of the order(s) and the privileges that come with the award. The first two entries (Fig. 17) are for the Medal for Combat Service. The third entry is for the Order of the Red Star. By the award date of 1956, it is most likely for length of service. |
